Paris welcomes ECOBoost

ECOBoost partners gathered in Paris for a productive and inspiring consortium meeting, bringing together project partners from across Europe to share progress, exchange knowledge, and strengthen support for Micro and small-sized enterprises (MSEs).

During the meeting, partners reviewed the progress of the project and explored the next steps in delivering effective support to participating MSEs. Interactive workshops focused on the recommendations emerging from the energy assessments carried out within the project, as well as on improving the customer journey for businesses taking part in ECOBoost. These discussions helped identify new opportunities to make support services more accessible, practical, and impactful.

The consortium also learned more about the City of Paris' approach to supporting businesses in their energy transition. Partners gained valuable insights into local initiatives that encourage energy efficiency and explored Paris’ innovative district cooling networks, which play an important role in creating a more sustainable urban environment.

A special highlight of the programme was a visit hosted by a local entrepreneur participating in ECOBoost. Supported by the French project team, the business is implementing measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. This real-life example demonstrated the concrete impact ECOBoost is having on MSEs across Europe.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to exchange experiences, learn from different regional approaches, and reinforce collaboration across the consortium. The insights gained in Paris will help ECOBoost continue its mission of supporting SMEs in becoming more energy efficient, resilient, and future proof.
