Pilot Hesse
House of Energy
is a think tank and innovation cluster supporting the energy transition.
It fosters innovations in all aspects of the transformation to a regenerative
and GHG-neutral energy system. This includes renewable energies and their
integration into grids and industrial processes as well as new technologies for
energy storage or decarbonisation, sustainable and efficient heating systems
for buildings or control mechnisms for complex energy systems, among others.
As a network, HofE brings together e.g. producers of energy-efficient
systems, financial institutions, universities, and three Hessian Ministries.
ECOBoost aligns with House of Energy mission by providing tailored support for
MSEs to improve energy efficiency.
Motivation
In Hesse, MSEs struggle with the high costs and technical complexities of adopting energy-saving technologies. By conducting the pilots, they can contribute to Hesse’s energy transition goals. For the implementation of the pilot HofE will commission external service providers for technical assistance and energy audits. HoefE will support the MSEs as a business support organization, will continue to expand existing contacts and enter into new partnerships.
Expected impact
As the German project partner House of Energy brings local knowledge and strong networks to the ECOBoost project. We aim to support small and medium-sized enterprises (MSEs) in becoming more energy efficient. Through ECOBoost, we share our experience and learn from other regions. This helps us improve our local approach and give MSEs the right tools, advice, and support to save energy.
